It is worth mentioning the background of its founder and President, Daniel G. Montamat, Ph.D., as Energy Secretary of Argentina [1999-2000], as President and Director of YPF S.E. [1987-1989], the currently privatized state-owned corporation; and as Director de Gas del Estado S.E. [1985-1986], the currently privatized gas state owned-corporation. He is also the author of a number of books on Economy and Energy and has been invited to lecture at the Center of Studies of Energy Regulatory Activities (CEARE) of the University of Buenos Aires and the Ciudad Argentina Postgraduate School – Academic Unit of International Post Graduate Courses of El Salvador University. He is also a consultant for the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank on different oil and gas projects in Argentina as well as in other Latin American countries. He has also held several conferences in a number of forums, seminars and congresses in Argentina and in other South American countries, invited by corporations, international organizations, civil associations, institutions and universities. He regularly publishes articles about economy, the energy sector and the environment in important press media in Argentina and Latin America.

It is also worth mentioning the performance of the current Vice President of the firm, Silvia Montamat, MS, as head of numerous consulting studies in the energy sector and their impact on the environment. In 2001 she was given the award “Businesswoman of the Year” by the Ibero-American Association of Businesswomen (AIME). Currently, she is the President of Bosque Amado, a company devoted to forest development, whose main objective is to foster the promotion of private investment committed to the environment and to global climate change. She was also Vice President of the Business Chamber of the Environment (Cámara Empresaria de Medio Ambiente) [1999-2003] and President of IID Argentina [1993-2001].
